A strong public relations campaign can be invaluable to any business. Join us at next month’s Think and a Drink to learn about and understand the importance of a good PR strategy.

PR is a great way to manage communication between your company and your key audiences and to build and sustain a positive image and reputation.

On Thursday June 12th in Middlesbrough’s Thistle Hotel, Anna Addison of Addison Associates and Andrew Hebden, assistant editor (business) at the Journal, will be talking about the benefits of a strong PR campaign.

Anna has over ten years experience of working in the media, and before deciding to 'fly solo' Anna worked for a number of high profile companies through a regional PR agency.

Andrew joined The Journal in early 2008 after spending two and a half years with The Press and Journal newspaper, based in Aberdeen. Andrew is responsible for overseeing the development of the newspaper’s business content in print and online as well as working closely with the commercial teams at NCJ Media.

Learn how to:

  • Write a great press release
  • How to approach a journalist
  • Spot the differences between a good and bad press release
  • How to identify a newsworthy story within you company
  • And much more

The event will be for an informal and relaxed evening, where delegates will find out and learn about the importance of PR. Held at a popular venue with good food, June’s Think and a Drink will be a chance to network with peers and learn all about the PR industry and how it can benefit your company.
